Leandra Lacy, MPH, CHES
Leandra Lacy is a training and technical assistance manager in the Research to Action Lab at the Urban Institute. She designs and delivers tailored technical assistance for community-based organizations supported by the CDC-funded Partnering for Vaccine Equity program. She also leads the design of an intensive technical assistance model for the Upward Mobility Framework project, funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Her research portfolio with the Urban Institute involves maternal health equity. Before joining Urban, Lacy worked in university, clinic, and nonprofit settings on sexual and reproductive health research, education, programming, and capacity building. Lacy has a BA in women’s studies from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill with minors in chemistry and African American studies, and an MPH in behavioral sciences and health education from Emory University.
