Emergency preparedness: states need to step up (and so do you)

To answer that question, the Trust for America’s Health and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation examined state-level preparedness and sent out a report card, “Outbreaks: Protecting Americans from Infectious Diseases,”  at the end of 2015. Ranked on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the highest, states received grades ranging from 3 to 9 (an interesting report card, essentially with no “As” and no “Fs”). They found a lot of room for improvement.
