The Most Obese State Is…

Actually two states are tied for this not-so-great honor.

In terms of landscape and culture, Mississippi and West Virginia couldn't be more different. But now they have something in common — they're tied for the most obese state. According to a new report released last week by the Trust for America's Health and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, both states have the highest percentage (35.1%) of adults with a BMI of 30 or more.
