Obesity Rates Rise in 16 States, Report Finds

The problem of obesity continues to grow in the United States, according to a report released Thursday that found adult obesity rates have risen in almost a third of all states.

The report, "F as in Fat: How Obesity Threatens America’s Future 2011," from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the Trust for America’s Health, found obesity rates have risen in 16 states in the past year. The rate has not declined in any state.
