Virginia passes 7 of 10 tests on health preparedness

Virginia received a passing grade on seven of 10 measures of public-health preparedness in a report that says the H1N1 situation exposed gaps in resources and readiness in many states.

The report from Trust for America's Health and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation looks at public-health preparedness in the 50 states and the District of Columbia. Eight states met nine of the 10 measures.
