Swedish study shows obesity up by almost a third

Obesity among women in Sweden rose by almost a third in the last three years, a study by the Swedish National Institute of Public Health has revealed. Forty-two percent of Swedish men and 26 percent of Swedish women are overweight, according to the study. In the US, according to F as in Fat by the Trust for America's Health, more than 20 percent of residents in all but three U.S. states are obese.
